Police: 3 shot, injured in separate incidents in Milwaukee; suspects sought

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating three separate shooting incidents that occurred Thursday night, September 1st and early Friday morning, September 2nd.

The first shooting occurred around 7:45 p.m. near 86th and Hampton.

According to police, a 21-year-old man reports that he was being robbed by two suspects when one of the suspects shot him. The victim was taken to a local hospital where he will be treated for a non-life threatening gunshot injury.

The second shooting occurred around 1:45 a.m. near 20th Street and Finn Pl.

Police say a 26-year-old man was taken to the hospital for treatment of a serious gunshot injury. He is expected to survive.

Police say the circumstances surrounding the shooting are unclear at this time.

Around 3:10 a.m. police say a 35-year-old man arrived at a local hospital suffering from a non-fatal gunshot injury. Police say the victim is not being forthcoming regarding the circumstance in which he was shot, therefore at this time MPD is searching for a shooting scene.

The victim is expected to survive.

MPD is seeking suspect(s) for each of the shootings.
