"Just a Few Sleeps Away," written by former JS reporter, focuses on loss of Andrea Haberman on 9/11

WASHINGTON COUNTY -- It has been nearly 15 years since the attacks on the World Trade Center on September 11th.

Those in Washington County are remembering a Wisconsinite who died that day.

Over the weekend, a book reading was held for "Just a Few Sleeps Away," which focuses on the Haberman family and the tragic loss of their 25-year-old daughter Andrea.

The book was written by former Journal Sentinel reporter Mike Nichols and was published five years ago on the 10th anniversary of the attacks.

"The book is really just an effort to remember her and to remember 9/11 and to understand the way that families of 9/11 have really dealt with tragedy over the years," Nichols said.

There will be a memorial service and commemoration ceremony in Waukesha Friday, September 8th as part of the "Kewaskum Remembers" event.

The memorial will feature a 2,200 pound steel beam from the World Trade Center's North Tower.
