Police: Man suffers medical emergency, crashes vehicle in Wauwatosa neighborhood

WAUWATOSA — A man suffering a medical emergency lost control of his vehicle and ended up crashing near the North Avenue on-ramp to Highway 41/45 on Tuesday morning, September 6th.

Officers were called to the scene shortly before 10:00 a.m. Officials say the vehicle which was southbound on N. 113th St., left the roadway, ran over a grassy area, through two fences, hit a fire hydrant and pole before coming to rest.

Wauwatosa police determined the operator of the vehicle, a 63-year-old Wauwatosa man, suffered a medical emergency. Police and Fire responded to the scene. Despite life-saving efforts by the first responders, the man died.
