KENOSHA COUNTY -- Cheese lovers rejoice! Kenosha County's iconic Mars Cheese Castle is set to undergo a major expansion, adding roughly 24,000 square feet to its facility which will double its size, according to the Milwaukee Business Journal.

Mars Cheese Castle, located off I-94 in Kenosha at 2800 W Frontage Road, will be expanding to the west, northeast and southeast. Doubling in size from its current 21,042 square feet to 45,164 square feet.

The Milwaukee Business Journal says the addition will include a gift shop, expanded wine cellar and new offices -- as well as expanding the cheese and sausage shop and storage space.

Mars Cheese Castle is an iconic location here in Wisconsin, and well-known for its large, distinct sign.

The building already resembles a castle, renderings of the expansion look like it will only improve the historical look!
