MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee police say they have arrested two people after they allegedly attempted to break into a business on the city’s northwest side early on Sunday, September 18th.

Officers responded to a business near 42nd and Silver Spring around 1:45 a.m. Sunday after a security guard said two people broke into the business. When the officers arrived, they saw that a window of the building had been smashed.

A 21-year-old Milwaukee woman was found inside the building and an 18-year-old Milwaukee man was located just outside the building — and they were both taken into custody.

The female suspect has an arrest record dating back to 2008.

MPD will present this case to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days.
