36-year-old man dies after he was shot on September 14th in Racine; no suspects in custody

RACINE -- Racine police on Wednesday, September 21st announced a 36-year-old man shot on September 14th has passed away as a result of his injuries. This case is now being investigated as a homicide.

Police say no arrests have been made.

The shooting happened around 2:00 p.m. on September 14th near 16th and Holmes in Racine.

The victim, identified as Jose Torres, was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
