In-air emergency: Landing gear issue forces refueling jet from 128th to land shortly after takeoff

MILWAUKEE -- A spokesperson for the 128th Air Refueling Wing in Milwaukee tells FOX6 News one of its KC-135 jets had an in-air emergency on Wednesday morning, September 21st.

The official indicated one of the plane's landing gear would not go up. The call came in shortly after 10:00 a.m. -- and the KC-135 landed without incident or injuries around 10:30 a.m.

A maintenance crew will be going over the plane to determine the problem.
