"Enhancing the guest experience:" Packers show off new Lambeau suites with retractable windows!

GREEN BAY -- The Green Bay Packers on Wednesday, September 28th showed off some of their new suites at Lambeau Field -- after a $55 million renovation that began in 2015.

"Our suites have been the same way for, I believe, 14 or 15 seasons. Our pursuit is always to be the best sporting experience in all of professional sports I think these suites help us achieve that goal," said Jason McDonough, the assistant director of premium seating for the Green Bay Packers.

The new suites and club seating is located on the west side of the stadium.

Construction on the east side suites hasn't yet started.

"We're all about enhancing the guest experience and improving it any way we can," said McDonough.

The suites have new signage on the doors ,a heater, two HD TVs and a Smart TV.

"Our suites vary in size from a 12 person on up to a 48 person," said McDonough.

The one big concern with the other suites is you never really felt part of the crowd. Now, you're going to feel the crowd. You're going to feel the noise.

The new suites offer retractable windows, which allow fans to enjoy the Lambeau experience.

According to Packers officials, the new suites open up other opportunities for the stadium.

"If you have another concert here and you can't open the windows, that really affects them. That takes a lot of revenue out of the system if you can't use those suites for concerts and other events -- which we continue to hope to have here," said McDonough.

And when it comes to the price tag for enjoying one of the suites...

"Prices are the same. Prices did not change based on renovation," said McDonough.

Packers officials said the new suites are a big hit, and there's already a waiting list to rent them.
