JobLines: A collaborative effort utilizing MCTS buses to connect people with jobs

MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee County Transit System is teaming up with organizations in the area to get folks connected with jobs.

Routes 6 and 61 are now JobLines -- a collaboration between MCTS, the Black Health Coalition of Wisconsin and MICAH (Milwaukee Inner-city Congregations Allied for Hope).

It's an effort to connect Milwaukee residents with suburban job opportunities.

According to MCTS, every day, nearly 1,000 riders use JobLines to take them from the heart of Milwaukee to Waukesha and Washington Counties for jobs they can depend on.

Are you looking for a better paying job? Transportation you can count on? MCTS officials say: Don’t give up.

Through these JobLines, MCTS officials say you can get connected with over 150 employers hiring for more than 200 jobs.
