Police: 2 shot, injured in separate shooting incidents in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee police are investigating two separate shooting incidents that occurred Thursday night, November 3rd.

The first shooting occurred around 8:00 p.m. near 36th and Hadley.

According to police, a 45-year-old woman arrived at a local hospital suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim provided an initial account of the circumstances surrounding the shooting. However, as the investigation progressed, inconsistencies began to develop regarding the incident.

The victim then provided a different account of the circumstances.

Police say their investigation in ongoing — and no arrests have been made in connection with this incident.

The second shooting incident occurred shortly before 10 p.m. near 88th and Capitol.

According to officials, a 34-year-old man told police he was walking to his residence when a suspect fired multiple gunshots at him.

The victim was struck by the gunfire. He was taken to the hospital by a friend.

The investigation is ongoing.
