Wisconsin DOT: SUV struck by rock in the Zoo Interchange

MILWAUKEE -- The Wisconsin Department of Transportation confirms that a large rock struck an SUV in the eastbound lanes of the Zoo Interchange on Thursday morning, November 10th. Nobody was hurt.

Officials say after the rock hit the vehicle, there was a minor accident that happened behind it -- which caused backups.

It is not clear if the rock broke free from something -- or if it was being handled by someone in the Zoo Interchange.

The Wisconsin State Patrol is investigating this incident.
