SHOREWOOD — Shorewood police are looking for three suspects accused in a carjacking that happened near Capitol and Woodburn Street.

It happened shortly before 6:30 p.m.

Police say three male suspects, one displaying a semi-automatic handgun, stole a vehicle at gunpoint and fled the area in an older model SUV that had damage to the front grill of the vehicle.

The suspect vehicle and the stolen vehicle, a silver Ford Focus, were last seen heading west on Capitol Drive.

“We walk our dogs. A lot of people in the community have dogs. I’m just concerned about people being victimized,” a neighbor said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Shorewood police.
