Media celebs, including FOX6's Jessob Reisbeck, help "Stuff the Bus" in fight against hunger

BROOKFIELD -- FOX6's Jessob Reisbeck and other media celebrities took part in an annual "Stuff the Bus" event to benefit Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin on Wednesday, November 16th. There was no clear winner -- Jessob tells us it ended in a tie. But the real winner was Feeding America.

The annual event is designed to build excitement around the 19th Annual Stuff the Bus that’s scheduled for Wednesday, November 23, in Pick ‘n Save’s parking lot from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin hopes to collect 100,000 meals to ensure more people have healthy food to eat during the holiday season and all year. Most-needed items include: canned fruits and vegetables, canned soups, rice, beans, tuna, cereal, peanut butter and jelly. Frozen turkeys will also be accepted, in addition to monetary donations.

For every $1 donated, Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin is able to provide three meals to people in need throughout the community. To learn more about hunger in eastern Wisconsin, visit feedingamericawi.org.
