Increased law enforcement presence at Waterford Union H.S. after threat discovered

WATERFORD -- There was an increased law enforcement presence Thursday, November 17th at Waterford Union High School after a threat was discovered Wednesday night, November 16th.

According to the superintendent, school officials worked with Racine County Sheriff's officials and it was determined this threat was not credible.

Officials spoke with a person of interest and their parents in regards to this threat.

As a precaution, there was an increased Racine County Sheriff's Office presence at the school Thursday morning as students arrived.

A statement about the threat was sent to parents by school officials.
