Drumstick Dash at Miller Park benefits Feeding America: "About as fun of a race as it gets"

MILWAUKEE -- The annual Drumstick Dash took place on Thanksgiving morning -- Thursday, November 24th at Miller Park.

The 5K run/walk benefited Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin.

For every dollar donated, Feeding America was able to provide three meals to people in southeastern Wisconsin.

People from across the country took part in the Drumstick Dash.

Organizers said it was all about having a good time!

"This is about as fun of a race as it gets. I'm sure you're gonna see people in costumes. You'll see somebody wearing a kitchen table and turkey hats and it's really a fun time," Nick Bancoch with Sendik's Food Markets said.

The youngest participant was less than a year old -- the oldest 86!
