Police investigate armed robbery of Walgreens store on Milwaukee’s south side

Armed robbery at Walgreens at 27th & National

MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee police are investigating an armed robbery that took place at the Walgreens store at 27th and National Ave. on Friday morning, November 25th.

Two suspects apparently walked into the store shortly after 10:00 a.m. One displayed a handgun. Officials say the suspects did not get any money from the register in the store. However, it’s not clear if they got money from customers in the store.

The suspects were described by police as males, black, around 6′ tall, 180-200 pounds. Both were wearing gloves — and one had a surgical mask on his face.
