Seeking clues: West Allis police need your help to solve hit-and-run crash

WEST ALLIS -- West Allis police are turning to the public for help in solving a hit-and-run case on Tuesday evening, December 6th.

A 34-year-old pedestrian was struck at 70th and Orchard (just south of Greenfield Ave.) around 5:45 p.m. last Tuesday -- and sustained serious injuries.

Investigators say they have not identified a suspect in the crash. However, they believe the suspect vehicle is a dark-colored Chevrolet SUV. It fled westbound on National Ave. after the crash.

Traffic Investigators are looking for additional information from witnesses who may have observed the crash or the fleeing vehicle.
