MILWAUKEE -- How will road work impact your holiday travels? Jason Roselle with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation joins FOX6 WakeUp to explain.

Tuesday night 12/20

  • Full overnight closure of I-94 East at Moorland for traffic switch. This switch will close access to the 84th Street exit from I-94 East until late 2017.
  • Bluemound entrance ramp to I-41 opens by 5am Wednesday (12/21).

These efforts are weather dependent. If Tuesday night is not favorable, crews will switch the work to Wednesday night (12/21).

Work will halt for the holiday beginning Friday, December 23 at noon until Tuesday, December 26 at 5 a.m. For the New Years holiday, work will halt on Friday, December 30th at noon and resume on Monday, January 2nd at 5 a.m.
