Hoof pursuit: Horse takes stroll through Village of Jackson; police coax him with carrot
JACKSON -- The Jackson Police Department responded to an interesting call Saturday afternoon, December 17th. They're considering calling it a "hoof pursuit" -- and for good reason!
According to Jackson police, a horse decided to "bundle up" and take himself on a stroll "without his mother's permission."

An officer was able to bribe the horse with a carrot, and they made a harness out of a dog leash to control the horse until his owner arrived to walk him back home.
Talk about a winter wonderland stroll!
