Milwaukee police: 24-year-old shot, killed near 29th and Roosevelt

MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee police are investigating a fatal shooting that took place on 29th Street near Roosevelt Drive on the city’s north side.

The shooting took place Saturday, April 8th shortly before 7:30 p.m.

Police say the 24-year-old victim, who has been identified as Johnathan Evans, died at the scene.

A 34-year-old Milwaukee man has been arrested — and this case will soon be presented to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office for charges.
