MFD quickly controls attic fire near 24th and Auer

MILWAUKEE — Authorities responded to a fire near 24th and Auer, on Milwaukee’s north side Friday evening, April 21st.

According to the Milwaukee Fire Department, the fire took place in the attic of a one-and-a-half story vacant home.

The fire was under control in about 20 minutes.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
