West Allis PD: Man threatens to shoot teller in Wells Fargo Bank robbery

WEST ALLIS -- West Allis police have released surveillance photos in an effort to identify a suspect after an armed robbery at Wells Fargo Bank located near 61st and National.

According to police, Tuesday, May 9th around 5:45 p.m. a man entered the bank and displayed a handwritten note to the teller demanding money. Police say the suspect displayed a black handgun and threatened to shoot the teller if she did not give the money.

The suspect fled the scene running northbound towards houses.

Officials describe the suspect as a black male, approximately 20 to 30 years old, 5'8" to 6' tall with shorter black hair. He was last seen wearing a black Nike hooded sweatshirt and gray pants.
