Vehicle found partially submerged in pond in Kenosha, no one injured

KENOSHA --  Kenosha police are investigating after a vehicle was found partially submerged in a pond early Tuesday morning, July 4th.

It happened near the Hampton Inn  -- located in the area of 75th Street and 125th Avenue.

Police responded to the scene around 6:15 a.m. after receiving a call from a Hampton Inn employee regarding the partially submerged vehicle.

When police arrived on scene, they found the front end of a car immersed in water. No one was inside.

Police later found the driver -- who was staying at the hotel. He told police he accidentally drove into the retention pond.

It is unknown if any citations were issued.
