"Bring her home:" Family offers $5,000 reward for Milwaukee woman's safe return

Searching for Audrey Scott

MILWAUKEE -- A 28-year-old Milwaukee woman has been missing for nearly a month. Now, her family is offering a $5,000 reward for her safe return. Audrey Scott's family says  they have been searching for her day in and day out, hoping someone knows something.

"Around the clock, 24/7," said Scott's aunt, Trenina Hull.

Near 76th and Hampton, a door-to-door search was underway Saturday, July 29th.

"We're going to every neighborhood possible that we could go to," said Hull.

For Scott's family, it has become a daily routine. Family members said the 28-year-old mother of two disappeared on the Fourth of July. According to her family, she was at McGillicuddy's bar on Water Street, where she got into a fight with her boyfriend and left.

"I'm a nervous wreck. Any time the phone rings I'm hoping it's her," said Carrie Scott-Haney, Scott's mother.

Police say a witness spotted Scott in the area of 92nd and Sheridan on July 14th, but the family said tips have gone nowhere.

"We're praying. We believe that God is going to see us to her. Whoever has her needs to just let her go. Bring her home. Call somebody anonymously and let us have my child back," Scott-Haney said.

Since the Fourth of July, loved ones have posted fliers and canvassed neighborhoods, barely resting -- desperate for clues.

"I'm not going to give up. My family is not going to give up. Somebody knows something," said Hull.

The family is now offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to Scott's safe return.

"Hope is what's keeping me there. I know she's somewhere and I got to find her and I love her so much," said Hull.

"I love my child with all of my heart and soul and I'm not going to stop. I'm not going to stop," Scott-Haney said.

The family says no tip is insignificant. If you have any information about Scott, you should contact Milwaukee police.
