MILWAUKEE — Southeast Wisconsin is braving record heat Friday, September 22nd — and temperatures could go higher.

As of 2:45 p.m., the official temperature as recorded at Mitchell International Airport was 95 degrees. The previous record high for September 22nd was 92 degrees.
