Police: 2 dead, 3 injured in separate shooting incidents in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating four separate shooting incidents that happened Sunday, September 24th and early Monday morning, September 25th. Two people were killed and three others were injured as a result of the shootings.

The first shooting happened around 1:55 p.m. Sunday, September 24th in the area of 6th and Meinecke.

Police say a 25-year-old Milwaukee man was shot during unknown circumstances. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. MPD continues to seek a motive and search for suspect(s).

The second shooting was reported around 8:20 p.m. in the area of 39th and Locust.

The victim, 38-year-old Antonio Davis of Milwaukee, was shot during unknown circumstances.  He was transported to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.  Next-of-kin notification is still being made at this time.

MPD continues to seek a motive and search for suspect(s).

Milwaukee police then responded to the scene of a double shooting near 28th and Glendale Avenue.

Police say a 31-year-old Milwaukee man and a 25-year-old Milwaukee woman were shot during unknown circumstances.  Both victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

MPD continues to seek a motive and search for suspect(s).

The fourth shooting was reported around 12:55 a.m. Monday, September 25th near 40th and Villard.

The victim, 34-year-old Anthony Rivers of Milwaukee, was involved in a fight with a male suspect when the suspect shot the victim.  The victim suffered serious injuries and was later pronounced dead.  MPD continues search for the suspect.
