New officers welcomed: 1st of 2 classes of MPD recruits celebrates graduation

MILWAUKEE — Dozens of new officers joined the Milwaukee police force Thursday, November 16th.

After six months of training, the new officers graduated.

Milwaukee Police Chief Ed Flynn welcomes the recruits in a ceremony at the Milwaukee Police Academy Thursday afternoon.

Forty-six men and women will now be helping keep communities safe. This was the first of two classes that started training this year.
