Police: 3 shot, injured in separate shooting incidents in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating two separate shooting incidents that happened late Thursday night, January 11th. Three people were injured as a result of the shooting.

The first shooting happened near 46th and Concordia around 10:45 p.m.

Police say the victim, a 19-year-old man, is being treated at a local hospital and is in stable condition. The shooting appears to be drug-related.

The second shooting happened 17th and Galena at approximately 11:15 p.m.

Police say a 30-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman sustained non-life threatening injuries and are being treated at area hospitals.

The motive for the shooting is unknown at this time.

MPD personnel are continuing their investigation and seeking to identify the suspect(s) involved in both incidents.
