St. Francis police seek at least 5 suspects after skimmers placed on ATMs at Associated Bank branches

ST. FRANCIS -- St. Francis police need your help identifying suspects accused of attaching and detaching skimming devices at multiple banks in St. Francis and Milwaukee -- and then using cloned cards to make purchases.

According to police, it happened at these Associated Bank locations:

Between Dec. 1 and Dec. 16, the device was transferred between the two banks. It was located at the bank on North Ave. in Milwaukee on the 16th.

The device was seized by police and sent to the DOJ's Crime Lab in Milwaukee for analysis.

St. Francis police said they've taken 11 reports that accounts were compromised and cloned cards were used to deplete funds from victims' accounts in Milwaukee and Waukesha County.

On Dec. 19, an officer from Brookfield released a statewide crime alert related to these incidents.
