Wanted: Sheboygan police looking for 2 men wanted in connection with shooting

SHEBOYGAN -- Sheboygan police are currently looking for 24-year-old Manuel Amador and 18-year-old Julian Ramierz -- both wanted after shots were fired Friday, January 26th.

According to the police, officers responded near the area of South 20th Street and Indiana Avenue at around 4:30 p.m. for a report of an auto accident along with possible gun shots.

Officials say the people in one vehicle were confronted while driving by another vehicle. One person got out of the second vehicle and fired several shots into the engine area of the first vehicle. The first vehicle hit a car and a tree while attempting to flee the area.

There were no injuries.

Sheboygan police have identified two men that are of interest in connection with this investigation. 18-year-old Julian Ramierz is a Hispanic male, 5'6" weighing around 120 pounds.

The second person of interest is 24-year-old Manuel Amador who is described as a Hispanic male, 5'6", weighing around 188 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. Amador may be driving a 2004 Brown GM Yukon SUV, with Wisconsin registration MX1336.

Police say this incident is not a random act as the occupants of the vehicles are known to each other.
