Homicide suspect arrested near 44th and Marion; ending tactical situation

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police were on the scene of a tactical situation near 44th and Marion Tuesday evening, Jan. 30.

Police said officers were dispatched to the area around 4 p.m. to check for a wanted subject, who then refused to exit a home.

MPD's "Tactical Enforcement Unit" and "Crisis Negotiation Unit" were on scene, working to resolve the situation.

Police said a man, 41, was arrested without incident around 9:15 p.m. He was wanted for homicide. An investigation is ongoing.
