Driver sought: 2 injured, 1 seriously, following crash near 35th and Capitol

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police responded to a serious crash that happened Tuesday night, Jan. 30. Two people were injured, one seriously, as a result of the crash.

It happened around 9:30 p.m. near 35th and Capitol.

According to police, an unknown vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed westbound on W. Capitol Dr. and cut off a Nissan Altima.  The Altima swerved and was struck by a Chrysler Town and Country.

Both the Altima and the Town and Country then crashed into a light pole.

The driver of the Town and Country, a Milwaukee man, 32, was transported to a hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

The driver of the Altima suffered minor injuries.

The driver of the unknown vehicle fled the scene and MPD continues to seek them.
