DPW overnight snow removal operation continues Saturday night; street parking impacted

MILWAUKEE -- The City of Milwaukee Department of Public Works' (DPW) overnight snow removal operation continues for the entire city Saturday night, Feb. 10.

All residents who park overnight on a Milwaukee street must move their vehicles to the ODD numbered side of the street by 11:00 p.m. on Friday evening, Feb. 9 through 6:00 a.m. on Saturday morning, Feb. 10, unless a posted sign on the ODD side of the street prohibits it.  Posted street signs take precedence in all areas of the city.

Residents must then move their vehicles to the EVEN numbered side of the street by 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 10 through 6:00 a.m. Sunday morning, February 11 – again, unless a posted sign prohibits it.

Designated Milwaukee Public Schools lots will be available for off-street parking on Friday and Saturday nights. This parking option is designed to assist residents who live in congested parking areas to find overnight parking from 11:00 p.m.to 6:00 a.m.  NOTE: All vehicles must be moved by 12:00 noon on Sunday, February 11 or they will be subject to ticketing and towing.  For a list of school parking lot locations, go to milwaukee.gov/snowparking.

Please read the street signs on the block/in the neighborhood for winter parking instructions BEFORE YOU PARK.   As not all winter parking rules are posted, residents should also check for parking restrictions at milwaukee.gov/winterregs.   Residents can also call (414) 286-CITY (-2489).
