Home suffers significant damage following fire near 7th and Chambers

MILWAUKEE -- Fire crews responded to a house fire near the area of 7th and Chambers early Saturday morning, February 10th.

Officials say the cause of the fire was an accidental cooking fire that sparked in the kitchen of the home around midnight. The person in the house was able to escape without any injuries.

Damage has been estimated at $51,000.

No one was injured.
