CALEDONIA — Officers will be present at Gifford School in Caledonia on Friday, Feb. 23 after a sixth-grade student threatened to harm other classmates.

According to police, after a long investigating the threat was deemed to be “not credible.” Officials say the student is being dealt with — and there is no active threat to the school.

As a precaution, officers will be present  at the school on Friday to alleviate any concerns.

Again, this threat was not credible and is being handled by law enforcement and school officials.
