Milwaukee police: Man shot, wounded near 56th & Hampton

MILWAUKEE — A man was shot and wounded near 56th and Hampton in Milwaukee on Friday morning, March 9.

Officers responded to the shooting shortly before 11 a.m. They found an adult male had been shot during circumstances that are unknown at this time.

The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment of a serious injury.

MPD continues to seek a motive and search for suspect(s).
