Suspicious package found south of Marquette University campus filled with ‘unknown meat’

MILWAUKEE — Officials on Tuesday afternoon, June 5 were called out the area near 13th and Mt. Vernon, in Milwaukee’s Menomonee Valley for reports of a suspicious package.

According to police, after the suspicious package was detonated, it was determined that it was filled with “some type of unknown meat.”

No additional details have been released.
