In 2010 we launched our Wisconsin division after moving to the lake country area west of Milwaukee to raise family and to take advantage of the growing demand for our great barbecue foods here locally. Our mission is to provide a variety of catering options for both large and small corporate events, holiday parties, open houses, and company picnics. Our goal is to fulfill the different needs of private organizations, schools and church groups and the ongoing needs of family functions from weddings, reunions, graduations and of course sporting event parties. We feature a majority of the same great menu items that we are known for in Arizona along with many popular regional favorites from the Midwest region. Presently we operate our restaurant and catering facility in the Town of Erin near the scenic Holy Hill Basilica, and a half mile from Erin Hills Golf Club, site of the 2017 U.S. Open.
The Barbecue Company has been nationally recognized with over 100 awards during its 30 years of operation, and has been featured on the first Food Network “Challenge” series, Travel Channel’s "Ribs Paradise Show" and "Meat Loaf Paradise Show", and was also the President of the National Barbecue Association. Our ribs have won awards all over the country, including the Best of the West Nugget Rib Cook-Off in Reno, Nevada, the Bay City Pig Gig in Michigan, the Naperville Ribfest in Illinois, and the World Pork Expo in Des Moines, Iowa. We have also been awarded with the "National Championship" Trophy from the Sparks Nugget Rib Cook-Off, arguably the most prestigious award to win in the Barbecue world!
