Police: 1 killed, 1 seriously injured in shooting near 19th & Fond du Lac

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee Police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened Wednesday, August 1.

It happened around 5:30 p.m. near 19th and Fond du Lac Avenue.

According to police, a 24-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries and died at the scene.

Another victim, a 26-year-old man, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

An autopsy for the victim is scheduled for Thursday.

Police continue to seek suspects and the investigation is ongoing.
