GREENDALE -- It's "Walkable Wednesday!" Brian spent the morning at three different locally owned shops in Greendale. He stopped by Ferch's Malt Shoppe & Grille, They Grow Like Weeds, and Ricardo's Pizza.

About They Grow Like Weeds (website)

They Grow Like Weeds is owned and operated by Diane Chilinski. Diane worked for 27 years in senior management, in not-for profit vocational rehabilitation, with adults who are disabled. Diane LOVED her work and she also LOVED resale stores. After the birth of her second child, Diane longed to open her own store. With the full support of her husband and sons to change careers....Diane took a leap of faith and opened They Grow Like Weeds in September of 2011. Diane LOVES serving her customers and works hard to maintain a clean and organized store that offers high quality items, at an affordable price....all in a charming and relaxed boutique environment.

They Grow Like Weeds is a labor of LOVE and Diane enjoys providing parents and grandparents an alternative to high retail prices....for the kids in their lives that GROW LIKE WEEDS.

They Grow Like Weeds is also a GREEN alternative for the items that children outgrow or no longer use, as rather than toss them away.....They Grow Like Weeds can purchase them and extend their life by allowing another child to use them. This makes sense both for our environment, as well as our pocketbook!!!
