Vukmir beat Kevin Nicholson and will face Democratic Sen. Tammy Baldwin.  On Wednesday, Baldwin called on Vukmir to join her in three upcoming debates, and Vukmir sent out her own news release, accusing Baldwin of standing with Bernie Sanders, who Vukmir called a socialist.

"I've been one of the top targets of out-of-state billionaires who've invested in super PACS, trying to put up nasty ads to defeat me, and you got to wonder why that is. I think it's because they know I'm not afraid to stand up to them," said Baldwin.

"I think everyone agrees we could use some reinforcements, some conservative reinforcements in the U.S. Senate. That's one of the big reasons that I decided to run, and now we have an opportunity to unify together and actually get this done," said Vukmir.

President Trump tweeted, that Vukmir "beat a very tough and good competitor and will make a fantastic Senator after winning in November against someone who has done very little."

Vukmir attended an event with Governor Walker Wednesday evening in Waukesha, while Senator Baldwin headed back to Washington, D.C. for Senate votes Wednesday.

Steil campaigned at the Kenosha County Fair Wednesday evening. As of Wednesday, Bryce didn't yet have any public events scheduled on his website.
