'There's something in the water:' Police department in Kentucky experiences baby boom

ERLANGER, Ky. -- A small Kentucky police department is collectively getting a little less sleep this year, as eight different officers welcomed new additions to the family at the same time.

The "baby boom" happened in the town of Erlanger, Kentucky. They say they realized scheduling might be an issue as officer after officer announced they were expecting a child.

There's an even split of four boys and four girls in the new baby bunch.
