MILWAUKEE — Hazmat crews on Saturday morning, Sept. 1, responded to the area near 13th and St. Paul, according to the Milwaukee Fire Department.

It happened at around 7 a.m.

Fire officials say it was a quick release of high pressure in one area of the Materion Advanced Chemicals plant that warranted the response. The pressure blew out a window and cause damage to the inside of the building.

No one was injured as a result. Authorities say there is no danger to anyone in the area.
