Body found in water near Carthage College in Kenosha

KENOSHA -- The Kenosha County Medical Examiner's Office was called out to the water near Carthage College Wednesday, Sept. 12, where a body was found.

Carthage College officials confirmed the body was found in the water behind Madrigrano Hall around 2 p.m. School officials notified law enforcement.


On Thursday, Sept. 6, an Indian Trail High School student went missing while swimming near Kenosha's North Pier. That's about four miles from where the body was found on Wednesday.

The person's identity hasn't been released at this point.
