MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating quadruple shooting that happened near 21st and National on Saturday, Sept. 15.

According to the Milwaukee Fire Department, three people were transported from the scene to Froedtert. A fourth victim -- who was grazed by a bullet -- refused medical treatment.

The victims are 21-year-old man, a 23-year-old man, a 35-year-old man and a 64-year-old woman.

People close to the victims told FOX6 News it stemmed from an argument between neighbors. Police said this is believed to have stemmed from an incident that occurred about a month ago between two groups.

Luis Torres received a call that gunfire had erupted outside a home in the area.

"I got family and friends over here, so I came by to see if none of my family or friends I know got in danger," said Torres.

While none of his relatives were injured, he soon learned his friend wasn't as lucky.

"His grandma got shot. She's in the hospital doing better," said Torres.

Milwaukee police searched for evidence well into dusk. Signs of the shooting were evident even from behind the crime tape.

"It's very frustrating to me, as someone who has for years, been warning this community that we're going to see more and more neighborhoods deteriorate if we don't take appropriate action," said Milwaukee Alderman Bob Donovan.

Alderman Donovan, who is no stranger to speaking out about the violence in his district, also rushed to the scene to try to get answers.

"Now, everyone's got a gun. It's unbelievable," said Donovan.

Donovan shared his message with the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.

"We need to hold people accountable for their criminal behavior," Donovan said.

Torres said he hopes the community hears his message.

"Sometimes we just wish it was a better community -- everybody got along. Everybody wants to pistol play these days, instead of talking stuff out. Everybody just want to grab a gun and shoot somebody else," said Torres.
