Mayor Barrett unveils ‘Our Crew, Our October’ banner at City Hall ⚾

MILWAUKEE — Mayor Tom Barrett on Thursday, Oct. 4 celebrated the Milwaukee Brewers’ NL Central title win by unveiling a banner at City Hall ahead of the start of the NLDS — with the Brewers facing the Rockies at Miller Park.

“I’ve got the fever, and the doctor said the only cure to this fever is to win more baseball games,” said Mayor Barrett.

Barrett said he wanted to show the city government is supporting the Crew and hopes they’ll be playing late into October.

“Let’s show the Brewers today, tomorrow, this weekend, through the rest of this month, that this city believes in them, believes in what they’re doing and bringing this community together,” said Barrett.

Game 1 and 2 will be played at Miller Park Thursday and Friday, and then they’ll head to Coors Field in Denver for the third game on Sunday.
