Investigation underway after apartment fire near 88th and Congress in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE -- Firefighters on Wednesday night, Oct. 17 responded to the scene of an apartment fire near 88th and Congress in Milwaukee. The call came in around 10:45 p.m.

The Milwaukee Fire Department says the fire appears suspicious.  The estimated amount of damages is at least $50,000.

No additional details have been released -- including the cause of the fire or how many people were displaced.
