Officials with the Milwaukee Fire Department indicated this was a triple shooting -- with one victim killed. FOX6 News was told by police the third victim was struck by debris. While not shot, that person was transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries.

"To see the yellow tape where your family lives is pretty scary," said Marceia Johnson.

"We heard the siren. Then I went upstairs and looked out the side window and that's when I saw the two bodies," said Barrette Graves.

It unfolded a couple of yards from the historic home Barrette Graves moved into with his wife and six kids.

"We just moved here two weeks ago. Just hearing the gunshots ring, I was thinking, 'That's more than six shots.' If my kids would've been out here, every one of them could have been shot," said Graves.

He compared the violence to what he experienced serving nine years with the Army -- doing tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.

"People have families. People have children. People have loved ones. Why would you want to take another person's life?" said Graves.

"It's just getting worse and worse every day. You just never know in Milwaukee," said Johnson.

The medical examiner said an autopsy was scheduled for Tuesday, March 12 for the woman who died.
