Milwaukee police investigate crash involving stolen vehicle near 35th and Hope

MILWAUKEE -- Three people were taken into custody following a rollover crash in Milwaukee on Tuesday night, March 12. The vehicle involved was reported stolen out of Racine.

According to police, around 8:30 p.m. officers observed a red Ford traveling at a high rate of speed northbound on 35th Street near Hope Avenue.

Officers observed the vehicle then get struck by another vehicle and lose control. Officials say the Ford came into oncoming traffic -- almost striking the fully marked squad car, flipped over and struck another vehicle.



There were three occupants inside the Ford. After everyone was safely removed from the vehicle and given medical attention -- it was discovered the Ford was stolen from Racine.

The subjects were taken into custody after being medically cleared.

The other occupants were taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
