Complete Fitness in Menomonee Falls is raising money for fallen officers

MENOMONEE FALLS -- Working out for a cause! One Menomonee Falls gym is hosting a fundraiser this weekend in honor of the Milwaukee Police Department's three most recent fallen officers. Kasey spent the morning at Complete Fitness to work up a sweat ahead of this Saturday's event!

The fundraiser will be held Saturday, March 23 from 9 a.m. to noon in honor of Officer Charles Irvine Jr. , Officer Michael Michalski, and Officer Matthew Rittner.

During the fundraiser, two classes will be held -- 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. The event costs $10 at the door.

All money raised on Saturday will be donated to the National Law Enforcement Memorial in Washington, D.C. as part of a fundraiser for the Police Unity Ride this spring. A handful of MPD officers will be biking around the country with members of law enforcement  to honor fallen officers from 2018. The ride ends in D.C. -- where the names of Officer Charles Irvine Jr.  and Officer Michael Michalski will be inscribed onto the National Law Enforcement Memorial Wall. Since Officer Matthew Rittner was killed in the line of duty this year, his name will be placed on the wall next year.
